Hello

I created twenty four maps of an urban area using Mapinfo's 3D map (v7.5). I noticed that the 'base' (or thickness) of the maps varies depending on the distribution of the values I have. For instance, if I have an homogeneous pattern (= almost same value all over the city), I get a very thick map, while I have a concentrated pattern (= lots of people in the city centre), the 3D map gets very thin.

Does anybody know why?

Thanks for any help
