Hey all I have a user that runs Mapinfo 7.5 on Windows XP. He has been using it with no problem up until yesterday. Now whenever he runs a coniditional query - ie select FIELDS > 3000 on a .tab file, the software takes ~100% of the CPU and will stop responding. This occurs on any .tab file he is querying. Other users (on other machines) can perform the same queries on the same files without an issue.=20
We have uninstalled the software entirely, and reinstalled it, as well as tried running the software as a different user on the same machine, both with no luck. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what we could try to resolve the problem?
