I am trying to open a series of queries in a MS Access database hosted on a
server as linked tables in Mapinfo but when I get through all of the DBMS dialog boxes
and try to save the tab file Mapinfo shuts down with no message. I can open tables
directly as .mdb files OK but can't access the queries this way. When I copy the
database from the server to the local hard disk everything works OK with the queries
but I have trouble with crashes when trying to make one of the Access tables mapable
using the "per row" option. Has anybody experienced problems link this and can help
me out?
