Depends if you are looking for a one off print. If you are, being a v7.5 user I would be tempted to set the style of all regions to one of the lighter dotted region styles (ensuring that Background is set to clear). I would then select them all, and click Objects>Check Regions... I would then Check for overlaps only, and change the regions that it find to a higher dot density. I think if you save the table, it would save the overlaps as separate polygons, so you should save as a separate table.
Not the ideal answer but should work OK Mark -----Original Message----- From: Michael Smith [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: 10 June 2004 14:44 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: MI-L overlapping polygon maps I have 6 individual map layers of polygons each different but some polygons overlap. Each represents certain criteria for carports in our city. I would like to show these on a single print out where the overlap areas are in a darker or heavier shade so that it shows this overlap area darker than no overlap. However, I would still like for all areas to be represented on the print out map. I would like to try and keep the same color say of grays with the overlap areas being closer to black. Any ideas on how I could go about this? --------------------------------------------------------------------- List hosting provided by Directions Magazine | www.directionsmag.com | To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Message number: 12128 ********************************************************************** Content: The views expressed in this email are personal and may not necessarily reflect those of South Derbyshire District Council, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
