Hi Greg
I am aware that raster images in MI cannot be rotated and I do not have any raster
images inserted in this map window. When I get some free time I will check the Set Map
CoordSys setting in the workspace.
Thanks for your input.
Brian

Brian,
I've just done a little test, rotated a window containing a single layer and saved the
results as a workspace. I re-opened the workspace and it restored the rotation in the
map window no problem. You can check your workspace, look for the Set Map CoordSys
command as this should include the affine transformation that sets the rotation of the
map window (it should be the same as that displayed in the message window when the map
window was first rotated). Have you got a raster image in the map window as this may
cause problems as raster images can't be rotated?
Greg

Subject: MI-L Rotated Map Window
Hi Listers,
I've used the add-on tool: RotateMapWindow.MBX to rotate a map window, it
works fine. I then add my labels etc. and save to a workspace. When I close and reopen
the file the map window has lost the rotation setting and all of its custom labels. Is
this how RotateMapWindow.MBX is supposed to work as a temporary rotation or am I
missing something?
Regards,
