Can anybody explain how to select one row from a table so that I can create a buffer around that record to do a within calculation with another file. I have tried to use the fetch statement but think I am doing it wrong. Ultimately, I will be taking all records and calculating a distance from one point of the first table to those points in the second table that are within the buffer. Any help would be appreciated.
If anybody sends an example...assume the table to pull the single record from is called "geo" and the second table that has the points that fall within is called "points".
