Carolyn MapInfo has a coordinate bounds tool - it is very easy to use. You can save as without a bounds clause. But if you have many, it may be best to use a script (MB program). Unfortunately the bounds isn't in the TAB or WOR - where it would be easier to remove or change them external to MI.
Ttry setting one tabel's bounds with the CoordSys Bounds Manager to see how you need to construct a MapBasic script to do the lot in one go. I assume that's feasible. > -----Original Message----- > From: Carolyn Bergin [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Thursday, 17 June 2004 11:01 AM > To: MapInfo-L (E-mail) > Subject: MI-L Data bounds/extents > > Hi Listers > > We have recently changed the projection of all of our data. > Unfortunately the tool we used for the conversion has set the > bounds/extents of some of our tables smaller than the Local Government > Area boundaries which has resulted in us being unable to edit the table > and add any ojects outside of the bounds set by this conversion tool. > > Ive been trying to work out a way to change the bounds/extents of these > tables without reconverting them with the LGA boundary appended to the > table and then deleting it.
