I 've got M.I. 7.0,

I've the following problems :

I want to associuate some data of a table of Excel to a map imported from Autocad

     I tried in such a way :

A ) I imported the map from Autocad ; M.I. creates its file by a browsere of its
with a member

of lines to that of the objects and all empty . Right here all OK

B ) I opened the data file Excel an M.I. converts it in a file of its : right
here all OK

C ) The order of the records of the map's file isn't the same of that one coming
from Excel, for

Exemple : the first record of the first map object is associated to reciord
n. 10 of the data

           Table , record n. 2 of the object with record n. 6 of a data tabe,and so
on.

Then I want to associate the one data record to one record of map objects. I tried
with "copy" and "past", but the pastring occurs not on the record of the record, but
adding a record to the browser of the file of the map.

Then I Tried to create in table of data another column to include the some codes that
column "ID" of objects.

But , after selectioning "Table Structure" program doesn't open, as does for the other
files, the window,in wich to add some columns. Then I had to save that table with
another name, to open again this last one and to add a new column that I name "COD".
Thenb in column "COD" I inserted the same member wich corresponds in "ID" to subject I
intend to associate . Then by "Update column" I transfer creating automatically a new
column; then I transfer another column and so on.

It seems to me too lomg procedure. Is there another one fastier ?

The best would be : to be able to select an object and to click on the little square
of the record of the data table and to transfer automatically the data of the various
cells of the record into the previouly empty cell of the selected object. Is it
possible ?

Thanks
