Hi,
Go to Options > Preferences > Startup and uncheck the "Restore Printer
Information from Workspace" option.
But before you do that, select your new printer and most commonly used page
size/orientation in Options > Preferences > Printer. MapInfo will use this
printer and page size/orientation for any layout in a workspace that you
open (if restorint printer info is disabled).
