Hi Out There in MapInfo Land,

I have some polygons in MapInfo that have a outline which touches itself in one point.
Ie there is a kind of hole modeled.

The polygon has one outline, which has a curve to the inside, then goes back to the
point of the outer outline.
Lets try to draw it with ASCII art:

----------
----
\ H/
P \/
----------

The H is the hole (not part of the polygon), the P is the polygon area. Where the H
but touches the outer outline of the P,
(bottom of the triangle), there is only one vertex (stored twice on the way of the
outline).

For further processing, I need to get rid of these outline touching holes.
In the simplest way, it would be ok to leave the bit out so the the example becomes a
boring rectangle.
How can I do this?

I need to be fast, as there are many polygons.

Thanks
Christof
