Thanks to those who have replied or are beating themselves up about it as we speak.
I'm leaning towards the space in "c:\program files\..." as the reason for the failure of .oShell.Run() to find my .mbx, as I don't get the problem when my VFP .exe and the .mbx are together in a folder without spaces in the path. Terry McDonnell
