Hello Craig,

It looks like your suggestion cleared one part of the problem: the pies
on the map now look as I would want them, but they do not match the pies
in the legend. I am currently trying to work out that part, but any
suggestion would be welcome.

Hi Pieter,
Try changing the map window scale to your preferred output scale and
then create the pie charts. Then rescale your map window to the view you
want to plot and create the layout, set to the required paper size. The
pies in the map window won't appear to be the right size but they'll
plot to the right size on your layout.
