Dave As you probably know, MapInfo "100" files can be saved from MapInfo v6.5 (for example) as File > Save Copy As... then choose from the FileSave dialog as "MapInfo version 2.x (*.tab)" - you can inspect the .TAB and it shows - !table !version 100
But I would assume that these "100" files don't have anything much more than the vector objects, so why not just convert them all to MIF/MID? Then they can be used by both Manifold and MapInfo (versions 4.x and later). It's a little more difficult than just changing the "100" to "300" in all the TAB files, but more versatile. There are MBX that can do that, I'm sure (or they can be written). The Universal Translator can't, however.
