new version will be 7.8, not 8.0, and should be released next month.
You'd think that MapInfo would actually copy this info to the list directly

- Support of query tables in 3D prism maps
- New object processing capabilities now include split a line by node
- Enhanced map creation tools
- New map projections

Maybe you in the know are not supposed to spill the beans, but perhaps we
could get a hint on the release schedule for MapInfo Professional v8?
The beta cycle should be well underway by now, I should think.
