Hi There is several A good solution is Aventra's Streambuilder (it integrates nice in Mapinfo), it can do a automatic deliniation and is dooing a decent job but beware - watersheed delination is a difficult process. You will need, knowledge about the area, knowledge about the methods, a very good DHM and a good tool. A strane thing is, that it in some cases is better to work with a coarse grid to get a good result (the same as with conturing) Some tools has their strengths in mountain terrain and others (in a fact very few) in a flat gentle landscape (an a flat glacial landscape is very, very difficult). One of the major differences is the additional amount of information you need to supply to the DHM - a lot needs the outlets, a lot can only deliniate one watersheed, some need a orirentated stream network and other need a rough outline and is "just" adjusting it. One of the research oriented tools is the free TapesG (described in the very good book: Terrain analysis), another Taudem (but it's turning ESRI and has several limitations) and there is one from the grassland research in the US (with very difficult setup, but also one of the few who can manage flat undulating landscapes) Ole Gregor, Udviklingskonsulent i Milj� og Teknik Viborg Amt
