Keith,

I would use the select function using a field that can differentiate the
three layers and save the 3 queries as different Tables, this would
recreate the 3 layers.

Subject: MI-L Combining polygons

I have a flood map that is the combination of three layers and I want to
take it apart into three layers again.

I was not able to figure out how to use the MapInfo Objects-Combine
function
to do this.

I want to specify a field and have all polygons with a common value
combined/merged into a single polygon. I looked in the MapBasic tools
and I
don't recognize anything there that applies. Think of this as undoing
the
OVERLAY.MBX results.
