Bill, The ultimate references are the header (*.h) files in the Platform SDK. This comes as part of Visual Studio, or can be freely downloaded from msdn.

For example, I'm looking at their File > Security page at > http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/f ileio/base/file_security_and_access_rights.asp, and they refer to lots of constants, but where do I find their values? Is there some area of the MSDN site I need to look at for these, or is it all just left up to the imagination of the reader? Sometimes I can search for "constants" and find what I need and sometimes they list the values along with descriptions of the constants, but most of the time this critical info is hard to find. Anyone have any ideas on where to go for this info? - Bill Thoen --------------------------------------------------------------------- List hosting provided by Directions Magazine | www.directionsmag.com | To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Message number: 13065 --------------------------------------------------------------------- List hosting provided by Directions Magazine | www.directionsmag.com | To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Message number: 13074
