Subject: Re: MI-L Create unique index for Access tables in workspace?
Hi Julian,
The command syntax I'd be expecting to put in the workspace is:
Server Link Table "create unique index ""MI_ID"" on tblMILINK(RecordID)"
Using "DSN=MS Access; DBQ=C:\MSOFFICE\ACCESS\DB1.mdb" Into test File
"C:\tmp\test"
This should just update the index, no data will be returned, no table
opened, and no file created (hopefully).
Notice the two sets of double quotes around the MI_ID to pass a single
set. If you don't know the connection string (after 'using'), you'll
probably be able to find it in the TAB file that you use to access the
table.
I hope that helps.
