You will need to get the images orthorectified for any chance of accuracy, there are 
several products out there that do the trick..... ermapper and erdas imagine( both 
very good....i dont know of anything thats cheap AND easy), the good thing is that the 
'overlap' in the stereo pair will allow for a better mosaicing and more acurate 
rectification, the downside is that you will correct the same area more than once to 
get the mosaic. Distortion varies across the images and is dependent upon a number of 
criteria esp the variation  of the terrain, view angle of the camera and the scale of 
the photo image(flight height + camera settings). It may be possible to buy 'already 
corrected data', this is normally expensive  and depending upon your needs and skills, 
you may prefer to DIY.
