Greetings All, Sorry for the slightly off topic post.

I have recently migrated to Windows 2000 from 98se.

I have a batch file that performs standard "run of the mill" commands to
prepare a text file for import into an Access Database for use in Mapinfo.
The batch file merely moves a daily downloaded text file from one directory
to another then opens the text file in Ultra Edit for some pre-processing,
then to MS Access then on to Mapinfo.

Now that I have all my files running under win 2000, I find the DOS batch
file doesn't work. All directory paths are correct.

I take it windows 2000 doesn't handle DOS batch files the same. Can anyone
advise me what I need to configure?

Thanks a heap,
