Hi Ian,

Library1.dpr is the source code and that is all needed.

Delphi 2 should do (delphi 1 is 16-bit), but it may not have all the
win32 api declarations found in later versions.

Robert Edwards once released a set of 10 small Delphi DLL's with source
code and how to call them from mapbasic. I've still got them here, in
case anyone is interested.

Thanks for the job offer, but I'm already busy enough :-)

Regards
Uffe

I'm ignorant of Delphi - having only an academic copy of Version 1.0 to
play
with!

What is library1.dpr? For the entire Delphi8 project for the .Net and
Win32
versions of the DLLs you placed in your downloadable ZIP file, "how
big",
"how complex"? If it's so much simpler than using C++ to wrap the
various
Win32 APIs of use to MapBasic people, into callable DLLs, then we should
employ you to write dozens of them! Or, buy Delphi version 2 (that
works?)
instead of upgrading MapInfo?
