Have you had a look at StreamBuilder to MI: http://www.avantra.com.au/StreamBuilder.htm. Getting a vector drainage polygon for the slope should also give you the slope length. If you found some other interesting solution I will like to hear about it.
By the way, did add your samle on calculating a vector centroid with a VM grid bugger, to my VM course exercises :) Mvh. | Regards Jakob Lanstorp Senior Consultant Geographical Information & IT COWI A/S Odensevej 95 DK-5260 Odense S Tel +45 63 11 49 00 Direct +45 63 11 48 62 Fax +45 63 11 49 49 Email [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.cowi.dk -----Original Message----- From: Lawley, Russell S [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, October 21, 2004 11:18 AM To: MapInfo-L (E-mail) Subject: MI-L calculating slope length from dems Hi, does anyone have a 'method' for calculating slope length (not slope!) from a dem using mapinfo/vm and/or mapbasic? r ********************************************************************* This e-mail message, and any files transmitted with it, are confidential and intended solely for the use of the addressee.
