Hi Peter,

I had something like that happen when I was editing a TAB after just
upgrading MI 7.8.
I have no idea what happened to cause it. The default point symbol to
indicate there was a Node Misalignment appeared nowhere near any of the
objects I was editing. I couldn't select it to delete it, but was able to
be rid of it by clearing the cosmetic layer. I haven't had the same problem
since, so haven't thought of it again. Not sure if this helps or not.

Subject: MI-L EDITING PROBLEM - 7.8

                  Hi everyone,
Have created new table and whilst
editing .... set target / erase / combine / disaggregate etc. somehow a
POINT OBJECT has been created similiar to the red circle point object
created when you edit in the cosmetic layer and have a node misalignment. My
problem is I cannot edit/remove the point object no matter how hard I try,
including closing Mapinfo and restarting .................... I get an error
message ... " OUT OF DISK SPACE WHILE EDITING TABLE - PLEASE REVERT YOUR
CHANGES TO AVOID DATABASE CORRUPTION". Trouble is there are no changes to
save therefore I am unable to "REVERT" the table.

                             Does anyone have any thoughts
................................. I can recall having this error message
before but can't remember how or what the remedy was
.........................

                                                     Many thanks in advance
.......

Regards

Peter
