My team is looking into the same question. However, for our purposes, it's
likely that we'll end up writing something specifically tailored to our
needs.

We're developing large numbers of animations (hundreds, to start) showing
economic statistics on thematic maps over periods of 10 to 100 years, which
will be made available via websites. So far, we've been outputting .BMP's,
loading into Vegas Pro, and outputting Windows Media. However, we suspect
that Flash will give the users much more control over the displays, and
(possibly) be more compact on file size. Also, we would like to make the
entire process automatic, from end to end.

I think we'll know more over the course of the next week, and we'll keep you
posted.

Subject: MI-L RE: MapInfo to Flash

Hi everyone

Can anyone tell me what applications are available that output to Flash from
MapInfo? I am aware of Geoclip but wondered whether there were others.

Many thanks
