Thank you for the guess. Luckily enough attachments get stripped off
from MapInfo-L, so I'm the only one to have seen your jpg and please
leave it like that or you spoil the fun for the rest. Good guess, btw.

Hmm. First I felt silly not really knowing where exactly to put the
north pole. I went with 85.703�N 5.349�E according to

Next problem, I realized to solve it correctly would involve all kinds
of math skills that I don't have. So I tried to solve it visually. I
couldn't get it any shorter than xxxxx miles. My solution is attached as
a jpg.
