Carlo,
The files you download should also include a metadata file (*.met *.txt
*.doc etc)

This meta file will or should give you the projection and datum/coordinate
system that the files were created in. Using universal translator import
them and specify the system stated in the metafile.

Once imported into Mapinfo you can the "Save As" the file(s) and save them
out to a new coordinate system if needed.

Subject: MI-L Non-Earth (metres) Projection

I have files from the GIS Data Depot website (www.geocomm.com) that I would
like to combine into a MapInfo workspace. But the GIS Data Depot files are
in a 'non-earth' projection. Does anybody know I can get them to open in an
unprojected (long/lat) or projected workspace?

Thanks,

Carlo
