Hello,

I use Mapinfo 7.5 + crystal 8.5. I use (I'm trying to use) an other
software very specific to my job, this software prints reports (reports
that have been created by another company with crystal7.0). This
software uses crystal7 runtime (crpe32.dll) + a couple (quite a lot
actually) of other dll. Every time I want to print a report with this
very specific software, it launches MapInfo Professional 7.5 User.msi.
(weird, isn't it ?).

My idea is that this software (crpe32.dll more than likely) looks for
dll in the crystal directory (situated in the windows directory) and
finds only vers8.5 instead of vers7.0 of these dll. Has anobody a clue
wether this is right or not ? Second question : what triggers this. How
comes that crpe32.dll 7.0 (I suspect that it is this dll but I'm not
sure) can launch (probably indirectly) MapInfo Professional 7.5
User.msi. Is there a key in the registry somewhere, or an ini file that
is responsible for this, or even a Windows' message ?

Thanks for any hints or clues that anybody could give

Best regards
