Hi Harsha, Haven't used AutoCAD Map in a very long time, but.....can't you export from AutoCAD Map into a dxf, and then import using the Universal Translator from MapInfo.
I have taken dwg files of new subdivisions and attached the Lot Numbers as attributes in ACAD 2005, then saved the file as a dxf (in version 2000 for ACAD). I then use Universal Translator to import the Properties into MapInfo as a TAB. When I do this, the attribute data is intact in the new TAB.
