MapInfo for SQL Server doesn't exist anymore. I think it was around for a year. Now it is called MapInfo SpatialWare.
The difference between these two products was the licensing: MI Pro for SQL Server was a single user application, where you paid depending on the number of users SpatialWare is a server application, where you pay per server running this MapInfo Pro for SQL Server was a add-on for MapInfo Pro that made it possible to store spatial data in a MS SQL Server.
