Hi,
I really hope someone can help me with this.
I have two windows 2000 mapping servers running in a load balanced environment. Unfortunately, due to the way our code interacts with the mapping service I need to share the MapImages directory on one server.
IE. MapServer 1 creates the map images locally on the box and works fine. MapServer 2 has a mapped drive to the images directory on server 1 and is referenced in IIS as "A share located on another server". The mapped drive is using an administrator to connect.
The problem I have is that MaXBroker cannot write to this share. It is able to read the directory. I can create a test txt file within the share as the same administrator. So the administrator does have write access.
I thought of getting MapXBroker service to run under the same administrator account as the mapped driver but the service will not start unless it is set to localsystem.
Does anyone know of a way I can get MapXtreme to write to this share?
Thanks in advance for your help
Ryan
