Will,
if you give each record in your tabfile a unique Id that you can use as a file
name (ie name each item Site1,Site2, Site3 etc) then you could use the
qik_Subset tool on the directionsmag site. This tool subsets a file on te basis
of field content, so separate files for each record shouldnt be a problem.
The version on the site has the unfortunate habit of appending "Subset" to
the filetitle, but if you want your files to just be called SITE1.tab etc
then email me direct and i'll post you a version that only uses teh field code
for the file name..

Subject: MI-L tool to save objects as new files

OK, I am not sure what you'd call this, but is there a simple MBX kicking
about that will 'explode' a file into one new file per record/object? So if
you have one file - a layer of 50 regions and you need a separate TAB file
per region, would want to automatically 'save copy as.' for each record and
name each new file based on an attribute field. Thanks in advance.
