Hi you can sometimes get around this problem by using the custom paper
size i.e. setting the custom size to the plot size plus 10%. That is if
you are using the hp plot software.

Subject: MI-L Rf. : MI-L MI: Problems printing large layouts
Hi,
I have run in the same problem at the other end of the scale, when trying
to create an eps doument smaller than A5. We have a Xerox Tektronic
supporting postscript from A5 to A3 and supporting custom sizes (for
enveloppes), but I got empty pages like you. I tried to use a standard
Adobe Postscript printer, but run into the same problem nevertheless.

Objet : MI-L MI: Problems printing large layouts
Hi there,
I have problems printing large layouts from MapInfo. When setting a custom
paper size to 42X56 inches (42 is the maximum width of our HP DesignJet
500PS), the whole layout becomes grey (the color normally used to show the
nonprintable area at margins) and a white page is printed. The same with
Acrobat Distiller postscript driver. Printing to 42X55 inches custom paper
or to standart paper sizes, such as ISO A0 or Arch E, works fine. This
problem is specific to MapInfo, because printing from other software like
PowerPoint makes no problems. It seems that there is some limitation on
the maximum paper length (56 inch?). Does anyone have a clue on this? It
is really frustrating.
Thanks!
