Are your geocoded objects being offset at all? That is to say, do they geocode right on the segment?
I have seen this happen, not too often, but occaisionally. The problem I've identified is when the "FromLeft" "ToLeft" FromRight" "ToRight" ranges are not consistant with odd and even numbers. Example: FromLeft 1 ToLeft 10 FromRight 2 ToRight 9 Mapinfo will attempt to geocode the record, but it will place it in line with the polyline segment and on it's centroid.
