We have two of our GIS employees running MI-Pro 7.5 on Hyperthreaded
processors. Neither of them have these crashing problems and MapInfo runs
significantly faster on their computers than on my PC which is only has a few
less mhz, but not hyperthreading.

What actions are your performing when MapInfo crashesm, and what make of
hardware?

I have been rigorously testing a Dell GX280 3.0Ghz Hyperthreaded with MI7.8
for the last week and I have had no crashes.

I would like to found out before we settle for HT technology!!
