Try to run this command before running the select statement Set CoordSys Table TABLE1 MapInfo 7.0 has a new way of dealing with the current coordsys, so that might cause some problems if you don't specify the correct coordsys Peter Horsbll Mller GIS Developer Geographical Information & IT COWI A/S Odensevej 95 DK-5260 Odense S. The calculation was successful. (for this version of Mapinfo, I purchased MapBasic separately). Recently I issued the same calculation command using the same Table1 from Mapbasic window of Mapinfo Professional 7.0 (Build 22). Calculated distances were all "0". For this version of Mapinfo, I did not install MapBasic. Is it necessary to install MapBasic for Mapinfo 7.0 Pro, if I would like to use such a function as "distance"? Any information would be appreciated. Yoshiro --------------------------------- Let's Celebrate Together! Yahoo! JAPAN -- No virus found in this incoming message. Checked by AVG Anti-Virus.
