Dear Peter, The command you suggested worked well. Thank you. It seems to me that Mapinfo 7.0 became more difficult to use than previous versions.... The calculation was successful. (for this version of Mapinfo, I purchased MapBasic separately). Recently I issued the same calculation command using the same Table1 from Mapbasic window of Mapinfo Professional 7.0 (Build 22). Calculated distances were all "0". For this version of Mapinfo, I did not install MapBasic. Is it necessary to install MapBasic for Mapinfo 7.0 Pro, if I would like to use such a function as "distance"? Any information would be appreciated. Yoshiro --------------------------------- Let's Celebrate Together! Yahoo! JAPAN --------------------------------- Let's Celebrate Together! Yahoo! JAPAN
