Hi Peter,

This usually happens because you have declared a global variable with the
same name with data types.

It might give you somewhere top start looking

Subject: MI-L MB - Can somone compile a MB app for me?

Hi all,

I have a MB app made up of four modules (MBO files).

Each module compiles OK.

When I go to "Link Current Project", Mapbasic throws an application error
and shuts down, giving the usual "Do you want to send an error report to
Microsoft" message. No hint as to what went wrong.

I've been finetuning this app all day and only now it does this, I can't
remember exactly what I changed - lots of little things here and there.

If I send you a zip of the source, can one of you helpful MB programmers out
there try compiling this puppy and see if you get the same error? I'm
really stumped by this one, never seen anything like it.

It's urgent I get this MBX compiled as it's absence is delaying a very large
project.

Cheers,
