Hi Guys Sheila Quan has found a minor issue with my app where the tool will not work when the workspace is saved in the same directory as the tables (which the Workspace Packager app does). When a workspace is saved in the same directory as the table the directory path is stripped from the "Open Table" command. I have now updated my app to take care of this correctly.
Bill Thoen: I have emailled the web guy several times however there seems to be no response / update. Is there any way of updating the file in DirectionsMag? As I would hate to continually bug the web guy. PS: The file the web guy has (from my prev. emails) is no longer current. ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: Stephen Chan <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Fri, 18 Mar 2005 12:09:38 +1000 Subject: Re: MI-L App that Resolves Workspaces with Missing Tables To: "Quan, Sheila" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> EXCELLENT. WELL DONE. The latest version has been attached to this email The reason why we were having this problem is that the workspaces were saved in the same directory as the tables referenced. When you do this in MapInfo it does not save the directory structure of the table. This is now fixed in the latest version. I thank you very much for sending me the WOR file. Please note that because the Map Window is now missing a layer, the title of the Map Window has changed and therefore can no longer be referenced in the layout window. You can fix this manually by double-clicking on the frame in the layout window and refer it back to the Map Window it was originally pointing to. - Steve On Thu, 17 Mar 2005 09:41:27 -0000, Quan, Sheila <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Hi Stephen > > Pls find the attached files as requested.
