I think this is related to another post that was going on in the last couple of days...
Try going to options> preferences > startup and ticking the load and retain printer information in workspaces boxes. In the past, I've solved this by going into the printer settings and defining the page size I wanted to use. Then when I call up that printer in MapInfo, that page is already defined and when I save the workspace with the printer info, the workspace references the custom page size and will call it up correctly the next time. I don't know if all printers allow custom setups, but the HP large scale plotters I use certainly do. Hope this helps.
