Hi Christine,

You need to create a bivariate thematic, that is: one thematic map using an individual value theme, and one thematic map using a ranges theme.
These two thematic maps have to be on the same layer. The ranges thematic has to be above the individual thematic.
In the ranged theme > modify thematic map > styles dialog: in the bottom right corner, you must set the 'Apply' option to Size (Instead of All Attributes)

Hi,

I'm creating a thematic map of cities and would like to theme the points
so that population is symbolized by both a different colour and symbol
size. I've looked at the "Graduated" Symbol Default and "Individual"
Point IndValue Default thematic options, but on one you can't
differeniate colour, the other you can't differentiate size. Also I
can't seem to find a way to change the values on either. Any
suggestions? Thanks

Hello

I have created a data set which needs to be accompanied by a disclaimer
notice when used in MapInfo. I suspect the answer to my questionis no
but thought I'd ask it anyway!

Is it possible through MapBasic or some other means to make a message
box pop up when this particular table is opened? I know that this is
possible to do in a workspace but sometimes the table will be required
to be opened on its own or into an existing workspace. Any ideas how to
get round this will be gratefully received.

Thanks
