Hello, I would like to convert the labels to text boxes on a global map, and my problem is that I need to have a zoom width of approx 100x100km in order to get the right sized textboxes. Since the Transfer Current Label function of the Labeler Tool only work inside the visible rectangle of the map, I would need to divide the world into rectangular blocks, and then loop through the whole world in x and y direction and then do the conversion one by one. Since the world is not a flat surface, I might run into problems with points on the borders etc.
Does anyone have tips or ideas or ideally prewritten mapbasic scripts that solve this challenge ?
