These tmp files are generated as temporary data is not saved. Should you issue a "Commit" statement and see if all goes well.

What other issues can cause this error? Looking in the temp directory, there are 54 TMP files present. It seems that these are not deleted until you exit MapInfo (and even then the last 2 do not seem to be deleted). Is there a way of clearing these with exiting MapInfo?
