Hello Simon & List,
Reconfiguring your COM ports certainly would do the trick. Alternatively, you
can go to our website and download the Geographic Tracker version 3.2-MapInfo
edition, which has support for COM ports 1-12. This was released last summer
and is a free upgrade for MapInfo Professional users. Here's a link to the
download page:

If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.

SUBJECT: Re: MI-L Using Blue Marble Geographic Tracker

Thanks Jon.

That should do the trick. (I originally was looking for Port settings
under Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Computer Management and
wondering why I couldn't change any of the settings.)

Cheers,

Simon
