Dear All

I currently have a excel sheet containing some crime data without any X Y
coordinates. What I want to be able to do is create a MapInfo table with the
data in and the just highlight the data row and create a point on the map for
the data. Is this possible to do (as when you just input raw data the table is
not mapable).

I currently have the same table in access and have created the MapInfo map
catalogue but when I download the data it says the table cannot be edited. Has
anybody any ideas?

The theory is to associate a point with a crime and then I will extract
coordinates for each crime.

Thanks in advance for any help.
