I work with Access and MI opened at the same time, sharing Access db's with both. I don't make changes to the db's using Access, but I do with MI. The changes are reflected on the reports I have in Access based on those db's, but the db has to be saved after making changes in MI, and the report has to be closed and re-opened. If you are working with reports, this will only work if you have made the reports in a separate Access db from where your actual data is stored and just link to the db's you need. HTH Alan

In this case there is no mappable data associated with the Access tables, and they are opened and modified in Access and also in MapInfo, but never at the same time. Will MapInfo keep up with changes made in Access, and will changes made in MapInfo be reflected next time the tables are opened in Access? - Bill Thoen --------------------------------------------------------------------- List hosting provided by Directions Magazine | www.directionsmag.com | To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Message number: 16571 --------------------------------------------------------------------- List hosting provided by Directions Magazine | www.directionsmag.com | To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Message number: 16572
