Hello MapInfo Users

A colleague in our ICT Services Department is attempting to establish an
ODBC link using an MS Access dbase with MapInfo Pro 7.8.

The following error crops up:

"Unable to download only the OBJECT from an DBMS table. Select an
additional attribute column"

If my colleague clicks OK then the following message appears:

"The tables you have chosen cannot be made mappable. To be made
mappable, a table must contain a spatial column, or at least two numeric
columns."

My colleague then attempted creating the link with an older version of
MapInfo but using the same database and there was no problem.

Has anyone come across this issue in MapInfo 7.8? Is there a solution?

Thanks.
