MI-L VB problems with MapInfo Runtime

Hello readers,

 

I have an integrated Mapping VB project which runs perfectly with MapInfo Professional. VB is the main program here, it embeds MapInfo via OLE.

 

Now I have removed MapInfo Professional 7.8 from my development machine and installed MapInfo Runtime 7.8

 

My program now throws the error 429, ActiveX can't create object. Somehow it seems my VB app. is not Able to trigger the MapInfo Runtime to start.

 

Any suggestions?
