When you create polygons by hand, the centroid ends up over the last point digitized. There are two ways to correct this. You can make the polygon editable, then select it, and from the Objects menu choose Convert to Polylines, then Convert to Polygons. The other way to do it is to use the Layer Control to make the layer editable and also click on the Display button, and check 'show centroids.' After clicking on OK, then select the (editable) polygon and click the reshape tool. Now you can grab the centroid (it's the blue node) and drag it where ever you like. - Bill Thoen --------------------------------------------------------------------- List hosting provided by Directions Magazine | www.directionsmag.com | To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Message number: 16922
