I am wondering if this is a bug in MapInfo 8.0 and if anyone else gets it. When I try to open an ECW image using Mapimagery, I get the following messages:
"Error opening view into into ECW file: C:\Data\SJ5502.ECW (ECW error)" followed by: "Error getting view into ECW file: "C:\Data\SJ5502.ECW (Queue node creation failed)" The image then opens and I can use it. If I save the image to a workspace and then open the workspace, the same messages occurs again.
