MapInfo Users We are using MapInfo Pro (v8) to access Oracle Spatial (9i/10g) tables from our Corporate GIS server. One of the issues we are grappling with is the slow speed and response times we are getting when accessing the spatial tables. We have tried setting zoom layering on each of the tables but this has had little effect in improving speed when panning and zooming. This situation is particularly pronounced when using Ordnance Survey Mastermap data and recently the same poor speed has been evident when using Points of Interest data. Is anybody in the same predicament? Do you have any suggestions?
